You're a wizard, Harry.

The boys play pretend a lot. Everyone gets assigned a character - they're usually superheroes but they mix it up. 

I try to encourage them not to be bound by 'rules'. For example, I can play boy characters if I want to (it was a fight at first) and they can play girls. And, if we want, two people can be Spider-Man at the same time (again, it was a fight but they're on board now.)

They were playing Harry Potter and Danny was assigned the character of Harry. Sam wanted to be Harry, so he was upset.

Me: It's ok. You can be Harry too.

Sam: I want to be Harry one.

Me: I mean you can be Harry as well as your dad. 

Sam: But I want to be Harry one. 

Me: Fine, you're Harry one. 

Daniel: Daddy can be Harry two!
